Pamela Anderson campaigns against KFC
Published Tuesday, Jan 23 2007, 13:49 GMT | By Matthew Houghton

The Baywatch actress is an active and vocal member of animal rights group PETA and has reportedly written an angry letter to the US Postmaster regarding the founder of KFC, Colonel Sanders.
According to Entertainmentwise, Anderson believes that it would be unethical to portray his image on a stamp because of his poor treatment of chickens.
She writes: "Honouring a man whose legacy involves breaking animals' bones and scalding animals to death in defeathering tanks is contrary to the values of most compassionate citizens, and I hope you'll deny KFC's request. How about another Elvis stamp instead?"
