Hilton must seek alcohol counselling

Paris Hilton has been ordered to seek counselling for alcohol abusers after being caught drink-driving.

The socialite admitted reckless driving in a plea deal with prosecutors. She was originally charged with, and denied, driving while over the limit.

She was given 36 months' probation, a £200 fine and told to attend the alcohol education sessions at a hearing she did not attend herself.

The star was stopped in her Silver Mercedes on September 7 and found to be just over the minimum blood-alcohol limit. She claimed she had not eaten and was on her way to a restaurant.
