Razorlight drummer injures his elbow

Razorlight drummer Andy Burrows has injured his elbow in an alcohol-fuelled accident.

The news comes just days after Snow Patrol drummer Johnny Quinn fractured his arm on a skiing accident.

According to The Sun, Burrows woke up in a pool of his own blood in a Munich hotel on Monday morning.

A friend told the newspaper: "Andy has been going through a rough spell. Last week he managed to throw himself off a moving train.

"And at the start of the week he woke up covered in blood. A quick body search revealed a deep wound on his elbow which had just dried up.

"Andy could only conclude that he must have slashed it somehow the previous evening when they had been out in the city. It was not a pretty sight. The hotel staff must have wondered what had been going down."

Razorlight will appear at the Brit Awards on February 15.
