Stars appear in a new Disney adverts

A host of stars are to appear in a series of promotional photographs in the latest Disney advert campaign.

Singer Beyonce Knowles, actress Scarlett Johansson and and footballer David Beckham are among the celebrities who will be appearing in the shots.

Shot by renowned photographer Annie Leibovitz the stars will be appearing in various fairytale guises in order to promote the Disney theme parks.

According to the BBC, Knowles will appear as Alice from Alice In Wonderland, Johansson as Cinderella and Beckham as the prince from Sleeping Beauty.

David Beckham reportedly took part in the shoot before his impending move to US football team LA Galaxy was announced.

Leibovitz said of him: "I think he would like to act...He was a great actor. He took it very seriously...and I love that."

The adverts will be released in March.
