Madonna and Guy sign "love pact"

Madonna and husband Guy Ritchie have made a new effort to save their relationship, according to reports.

The couple have signed to a "love pact", suggested by an American marriage therapist. The agreement sees the couple promise to spend as much time as they can with their three children, as well as postponing any solo work projects that may affect their family.

They will also begin looking for a larger house in New York, according to the US press reports.

A friend of the family told The People: "They have both worked really hard at their marriage issues and come to a new understanding. They have each accepted their own part in the problems they had been experiencing and are determined not to let anything come between them again. It's a fresh start and they actually look like a pair of newlyweds again."
