William and Kate to marry this July?

Prince William and Kate Middleton have set a date for their wedding in July of next year, according to a source.
The two reportedly do not want to announce their decision in case it overshadow's the diamond wedding anniversary of Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip, in November of this year.
William has been advised to bring the wedding forward for Middleton's safety, as she is not technically entitled to formal police protection until the two are officially together.
A source told The People: "The threat to Kate's safety is what really persuaded William to hurry things along. Even though Prince Charles is personally funding two extra officers for her, it is nothing like the protection she will get when the full armoury of the Royal Protection Squad surrounds her.
"William has been persuaded that to delay a wedding would put Kate at risk and he will not tolerate that," the source continued. "His hand is being forced by the fact Kate is considered an open target for terrorists until she is his fiancée."
A spokesman for the prince refused to add anything to the debate, saying merely: "We don't have anything to say on speculation of this kind."
