Corinne Bailey Rae has spoken out about her engagement to husband Jason, claiming she made him propose a number of times before she agreed.
The singer, who has been married to Jason Rae for five years, was keen to ensure her then partner was serious enough before she accepted his proposal.
"I made him propose a few times," she admitted. "I wanted to check he was serious. And then I just wanted to make sure. And eventually, I thought, 'Yeah, it's a good idea'."
