Omar Sharif has been ordered to attend a series of anger management sessions after assaulting a parking attendant.
The Lawrence of Arabia star hit the attendant in an incident outside a steakhouse in Beverley Hills.
Sharif, who was drunk, reportedly came out of the restaurant to find that his car was not outside and demanded that the parking attendant get it. He then assaulted the restaurant worker after he refused to take a 20 Euro note as payment.
The actor was charged with misdemeanour battery, and escaped a possible six months in prison.
He was subsequently fined £500, sentenced to two years on probation and ordered to attend 15 anger management sessions.
