Charlotte Church has insisted that she isn't in a hurry to get married to boyfriend Gavin Henson.

The Welsh singer and chat show host - who turns 21 on Wednesday - admitted that while she would "probably" accept a proposal from Gavin, she wouldn't want to follow in the footsteps of Jordan and host a huge ceremony.

"We're so happy together, If Gav gave me an engagement ring I'd say yes - probably - but it's really not a big deal," she told The Mirror.

"If I was to get married, I don't think I'd want a big do because I'd have to spend £50million on security so my special day would be mine. I don't know if I want to go through all that as it would annoy me so unbelievably much.

"Gav and I agree that marriage just isn't what it was. If we were together and it was 1940, then it would be absolutely necessary, and back then it meant so much more. Now one in two marriages end in divorce, which is ridiculous really."
