'Octomom' Nadya Suleman denies child sex abuse allegations

By
Nadya Suleman has strenuously denied allegations that one of her children sexually abused another.

The mum of 14 - who has been nicknamed 'Octomom' - was accused by two of her former nannies of allowing one of her sons to inappropriately touch his sister, TMZ reports.

However, Suleman has now insisted that the claims are "blatant lies" and accused one of the nannies of being "obsessed" with her children.

"One of them actually tried to keep them," she told TMZ. "I almost called the police because she wouldn't let me take them back. She had them a few days when I travelled and she got obsessed, so they started to make up lies, because that one in particular wanted to do her best to take my eight, to keep them."

Suleman claimed that she was "expecting something like this to happen" and insisted that her children have a "healthy bond with each other".

"They're really trying to make up the worst lies possible, which really makes me sick, sick and sad, because this is the lowest blow you can go," she said. "I have to be so careful who I let in my life and this is a reminder to me not to trust anybody. It's sad."

Suleman, who revealed that the police have not contacted her about the allegations and described claims that she tied up her children as "absolutely ridiculous" and "sick", added that the former nannies are "hating because they can't have what I have, what we have in my family".

Suleman was previously accused of child neglect but child protection services decided not to take further action after investigating the claims.

"They were welcome in my home and they saw that [the children] were very well taken care of," she said. "They have never been neglected and they have never been abused, absolutely never."

Suleman - who recently moved to a new home - described her family as an "open book", saying: "[The children] are healthy, they're happy, and they're just ecstatic to be in this new environment... [I have a] great support system right now. I was among bad people that were pretending to be my friends because they have ulterior motives."

She added: "Everyone's doing whatever they can to make me fail and we're thriving and we're doing amazing... These people are just doing whatever they can to set us up for failure. I just feel sorry for them, that's all."
