The actress was hospitalised after being hit by a falling light fixture during filming back in July and was forced to cut short her role on the show.
Chenoweth has now told People that although she is "getting along so good", she is still on the road to recovery.
"About three weeks ago, I found out I have three cracked teeth from the accident," she said. "It's an ongoing recovery and it's not going to be fast. I have neck issues and a five inch skull fracture, [but] that's healing. [I'm] doing great and moving forward."
However, Chenoweth described the accident as "life-changing" and explained that it has put things in perspective.
"When the accident happened to me on July 11, my mum had to fly in," she said. "I was in trouble and I needed help... I said, "Why me, why me, why me, why me?' And she said, 'Why not you? You're human like everyone else. Things happen. You're no special or worse than everyone else'."
Chenoweth has previously revealed that she struggled to multi-task following the accident.
