"We've been friends for three years and we've been together since Christmas," Sweeney told The Mirror.
"We haven't thought about what to do for our year anniversary yet but we're very happy. He has an online marketing agency in Liverpool and is very bright."
Speaking of working on her own fashion range, she added: "I'm very much involved with everything right from the beginning, the cuts, fabrics, the design, everything. It's been a labour of love, but I love it.
"I really admire Victoria Beckham. She's really shut everyone up with this collection, hasn't she? It took a while for her to prove herself but I think her clothes are absolutely stunning."
Sweeney recently joined forces with Kenco to help raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
