Baron Cohen is sued by ex-girlfriend

Sacha Baron Cohen is being sued by an ex-girlfriend who claims that he made derogatory remarks about her in his TV series Da Ali G Show.

Cohen, appearing as his alter ego Ali G in 2004, allegedly said: “Me used to go out with this bitch called Heidi Cundle”. He also allegedly dubbed Cundle a "minger" and claimed that she became pregnant with his child.

Her name was apparently edited out of the TV show but an uncut version appeared on the YouTube website.

Cundle is seeking damages from Cohen and his production company for fraud, misrepresentation, emotional distress, libel, slander and invasion of privacy.
