The One Direction star said that he would go ahead with the feat as long as it raises plenty of money for charity.
Answering fan questions during an interview with Channel 4's Freshly Squeezed, 18-year-old Styles said that he would abandon his signature hairstyle for a good cause.
"Yes I would," he said. "If I raised enough money then yeah... for Children In Need."
Styles has previously admitted that he would like to adopt a buzzcut, but said the group's management would not let him go through with it.
"I want to shave my hair off and no-one will really let me," he told Radio 1's Nick Grimshaw. "Everyone's telling me not to do it.
"My argument is, like, I think my popularity is in my face, and not my hair."
One Direction are due to release their new single 'Little Things' - written by Ed Sheeran - on November 12.
