Justin Timberlake on Jessica Biel wedding: "It was magical"

Justin Timberlake has offered his first public comment on his and Jessica Biel's weekend wedding.

The couple tied the knot in front of family and friends in Puglia, Italy on Friday (October 22) in a ceremony where details were reportedly kept top-secret until the last minute.



Timberlake has now told People that he was overjoyed to finally marry long-time love Biel.

"It was magical," Timberlake said, adding: "It was an unforgettable evening."

Biel also commented on the nuptials, describing the Italian wedding as "a fantasy".

The couple initially confirmed they had tied the knot on Friday in a joint statement to the press.



"It's great to be married. The ceremony was beautiful and it was so special to be surrounded by our family and friends," Timberlake and Biel said in a press release.

Timberlake and his bride also hosted a beachside pre-wedding party two nights before their nuptials, which was attended by Andy Samberg and music mogul Johnny Wright.

Biel and Timberlake dated on-and-off for several years prior to their engagement in December 2010.
