'Glee's Jane Lynch added to Ellen DeGeneres's Mark Twain Prize gala

Glee's Jane Lynch has been added to Ellen DeGeneres's Mark Twain Prize ceremony.

Lynch and John Leguizamo are appearing alongside previously announced presenters Jimmy Kimmel, Kristin Chenoweth and Sean Hayes at tonight's gala.

Jane Lynch at the Comedy Central Roast of Roseanne Barr held at the Hollywood Palladium.

The Mark Twain Prize is among the highest honours in American comedy, having previously been won by Tina Fey, Will Ferrell and Steve Martin.

DeGeneres's all-star tribute is being held at the John F Kennedy Centre for the Performing Arts in Washington DC.

Edited highlights from the 2012 Mark Twain Prize gala will air on PBS on October 30.

DeGeneres has won more than a dozen Daytime Emmy Awards for her talkshow as well as seven People's Choice prizes.
