The 'Young' singer said that she is drawing on her own experiences and admitted "there are elements of the book based on real-life characters I know".

"Its definitely not 50 Shades of Grey," she told the Daily Star. "It's exciting for me. It's something that I wanted to do with the same publishers as my autobiography.

"I do a lot of reading. I like crime novels and my number one author is Martina Cole."

Tulisa recently revealed that she did not get on very well with former X Factor panellist Kelly Rowland.

"The minute the problem started was when you saw it on TV," she explained.

"Obviously with me and Kelly, there were times when it went backstage and we wouldn't talk, which was unfortunate.

"It didn't bother me, though. I was like, 'If you don't want to talk to me, don't talk to me'."

The former N-Dubz star - who recently launched her own clothing line - also admitted that she would like to venture into acting.

"I want to do more acting," she said. "It's fun to be someone else. A great start would be doing a Brit flick."

Tulisa's latest single 'Sight of You' is released on November 25. Watch the video for the track below:
