Hogan filed a $100m (£61.2) lawsuit against Gawker for allegedly publishing a clip from a sex tape with his former best friend Bubba the Love Sponge's wife Heather Clem.
He also sought damages from Bubba the Love Sponge and Heather for apparently illegally taping him, but he settled his suit against Bubba on Monday (October 29).
Hulk's ex-wife Linda weighed in on the controversy on Access Hollywood Live, admitting that she was not shocked that the sex tape was shot while she was still legally married to the wrestler.
"It really is quite an embarrassment for our family. I'm a little devastated, but I'm not really shocked," Linda commented. "I knew that he was having affairs and I knew that he was cheating."
Linda went on to acknowledge that she did watch Gawker's clip of Hogan in a sex act with Clem.
"I didn't know about this [specific] girl," she revealed. "[Watching it] actually did make me upset."
She added: "I mean, to watch him in a room with another woman... and at the end of the day he came out and said it was definitely during the time [we were] married.
"I'm just glad to be away from that and moving on, doing all sorts of fun stuff now."
Linda recently split from her own long-time boyfriend Charlie Hill, who she described as a "good band-aid" following her divorce from Hulk.
Hulk and Linda were married for 25 years prior to their divorce.
