Boris Johnson calls hecklers "lefty tossers" - video

Boris Johnson has hit back at a group of hecklers while on a trip to Bristol, branding them "lefty tossers".

The Mayor of London was jeered and called "Tory scum" as he campaigned for Conservative Bristol mayoral candidate Geoff Gollop and Police Commissioner candidate Ken Maddock.

The Hangover star Zach Galifianakis recently suggested that Boris Johnson should be British Prime Minister.

"He would change the face of what a national leader could be. He's charming, very funny - and has that weird hair," Galifianakis said.

Johnson recently came out on top of a poll to find people's ideal political beach buddy.
