Stephenie Meyer won't rule out possibility of more 'Twilight'

By
Stephenie Meyer has hinted that she may yet return to the Twilight series.

The final film in the series, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2, is set to be released this month, but it may not prove to be the final entry in the teen vampire saga.

RTE reports that Meyer admitted at a press conference that she has already planned out a continuation of the story of Bella and Edward.

When asked if she had any plans to return to the phenomenally popular series, she replied: "I wouldn't say no absolutely. I'm not going to do it today, but I don't know how I'm going to feel in five years."

She added: "I planned out where it would go for a couple more books... there are other characters who I think would have a lot of voice in those coming stories.

"Maybe someday, I'll write it out just for myself. We'll see."

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 is currently the official end to the film series, and reportedly has a different ending from the book.

Star Robert Pattinson has described the ending to the film as "bizarre".
