Leonardo DiCaprio and Tobey Maguire have appeared in a new PSA for their political group Vote4Stuff.
The nonpartisan organisation urges young people to take direct action in the political process by casting a vote on election day.
DiCaprio and Maguire appear with a group of top Hollywood stars including Selena Gomez, Jonah Hill, Amanda Seyfried, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Zac Efron and Ellen DeGeneres to share their humorous dreams of issues they'd like to vote on.
The video appeal takes a more serious tone when DiCaprio and the other Hollywood stars discuss the importance of young people making their voices heard in today's election.
"Go vote for stuff you care about on November 6," DiCaprio says in his concluding message to viewers.
The US presidential election currently under way pits Democratic incumbent Barack Obama against Republican challenger Mitt Romney.
Polls have suggested a tight race in most battleground states, with a definite result not expected to be announced at least until late Tuesday night (November 6) in the US.
