Russell Brand shares thoughts on Honey Boo Boo, 'Twilight' - video

Russell Brand has shared his thoughts on a variety of pop culture subjects, including Honey Boo Boo and The Twilight Saga.

The British comedian appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show to celebrate the series' 10th anniversary and was quizzed on some hot topics.



When DeGeneres asked Brand if he enjoys The Twilight Saga, Brand humorously responded: "I call them the Twiglet movies and figure they're about very small branches."

He also said of child beauty queen Honey Boo Boo: "Oh, that's a child! I just thought it was a position."

Brand lavished the most praise on friend David Beckham, who he jokingly admitted to fancying even though both men are heterosexual.

"I would eat fried eggs off his stomach and floss my teeth while I ate them on his abdominal hair," the comic quipped. "Look how gorgeous he is! I'm a heterosexual... but there's a point where you figure, 'Why not?'"

The Brand X host additionally shared a specially recorded video featuring his cat Morrissey in honour of The Ellen DeGeneres Show's anniversary.

Brand's interview airs on Wednesday (November 7).
