Charlie Sheen 'investigated for allegedly threatening to shoot ex-friend'

By
Charlie Sheen is reportedly being investigated for threatening a former friend.

Sheen's ex-associate filed a police report in late October claiming that Sheen threatened to shoot him in a text message sent to a mutual friend after a dispute, according to TMZ.

The Anger Management star is alleged to have written in the text: "I'll blow his head off with my Super 90 [gun]." It is not yet clear how Sheen's friend got a hold of the text message.

A police source told the website that LAPD officers are requesting an interview with Sheen as an investigation is ongoing.

Sheen has offered no comment on the issue, but a friend of the actor has insisted that the allegations are totally false.

"The accuser is a dishonourably discharged military person with multiple probation violations who is trying to shake him down for money," the Sheen insider claimed.

Sheen recently made headlines for delaying filming Anger Management for two days.

There were initial rumours that Sheen's much-publicized personal problems had returned, but it was later clarified that the star had an ear infection.
