The publisher has snatched up the workplace romance based on Stephenie Meyer's hit series following the runaway success of Fifty Shades of Grey, which was also inspired by the books.
The story, which is being reworked into two books called Beautiful B**tard and Beautiful Stranger, recasts the Edward Cullen/Bella Swan romance as a love/hate relationship between a businessman and his assistant, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Christina Hobbs and Lauren Billings - writing together under the pen name Christina Lauren - generated more than 2 million downloads before their story was taken offline in 2009.
Fifty Shades of Grey has become the best-selling book of all time in the UK.
Beautiful B**tard will be released on February 12 with Beautiful Stranger following on May 28.
