Everett criticises "overwhelming" Elton

Rupert Everett has criticised Sir Elton John and his partner David Furnish, labelling the high-profile couple "a bit overwhelming".

The My Best Friend's Wedding actor complained that the couple have allowed their celebrity status to go to their heads.

He said of the 'I'm Still Standing' singer: "He and David think they are the King and Queen of England and can tell everyone what to do. They've become a bit overwhelming."
