'30 Rock's Sherri Shepherd to headline Hurricane Sandy comedy benefit

30 Rock star Sherri Shepherd is headlining a Hurricane Sandy benefit in New York City.

Shepherd - who also co-hosts The View - will aiding relief efforts with the 'Stand Up to Sandy' show at the famous Stand Up NY comedy club on Sunday (November 11).

Caroline Rhea of Sabrina the Teenage Witch is also on the bill for the stand-up benefit show.

Proceeds raised from 'Stand Up to Sandy' will benefit the Brooklyn Recovery Fund. Tickets are available on Stand Up NY's official website.

Susan Sarandon is also hosting her own benefit in New York City at SPiN tonight (November 9) to raise money for the storm-ravaged community of Breezy Point, Brooklyn.

More than 100 people have died since Hurricane Sandy made landfall last week. The storm also left thousands homeless.
