Kate Winslet has accepted a "substantial" libel settlement from Grazia after the magazine falsely claimed that she visited a diet doctor.
The Titanic actress intends to donate the settlement to an eating disorder charity.
Grazia said: "We are satisfied that she did not go to (a doctor) seeking any treatment for weight loss. We are very happy to set the record straight and sincerely apologise to Kate for the distress caused."
Winslet said in a statement through her solicitor: "I am delighted that this matter has been resolved, and the record set straight. I am not a hypocrite. I have always been, and shall continue to be, honest when it comes to body and weight issues."
