Albarn asks Gallagher for support

Damon Albarn has invited his Britpop rival Noel Gallagher to become involved in his anti-nuclear campaign.
The Blur and Gorillaz star is protesting against the British government's plans to renew the Trident nuclear defence system, and he believes that Gallagher's support would boost the campaign.
He said of Gallagher: "I'd respect him enormously if he came and added his very articulate and acerbic wit to trying to get the government to rethink spending £25 billion of our money on a totally and utterly useless defence system."
