Kelly Osbourne volunteers to help Hurricane Sandy victims

Kelly Osbourne volunteered at the Salvation Army to help Hurricane Sandy victims over the weekend.

The Fashion Police panelist took to Twitter to reveal that she would aid victims of the 'Superstorm' in Staten Island, NY, one of the areas hit hardest by the severe weather.

"On my way to volunteer with the @SalvationArmyUS in #StatenIsland #DoYourPart #SandyIsAnAssHole but the love it's created is amazing," Osbourne wrote.

Osbourne later returned to the microblogging website to reveal that speaking with those affected by Hurricane Sandy had a profound effect on her life.

The star tweeted: "Thank you so much @SalvationArmyUS for letting me come volunteer it was such a humbling experience."

Osbourne was also thanked by the Salvation Army on Twitter, with the organising writing: "WOW! Thanks for keeping it real. You didn't have to do it but you did."

Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel, Alec Baldwin and Ben Stiller have also volunteered to help victims of Hurricane Sandy in recent weeks.
