Hathaway complains about autograph hunters

Anne Hathaway has complained about autograph hunters who don't know her name.

The Becoming Jane actress admitted that she often refuses to sign autographs for members of the public who only remember her from Princess Diaries, her first major film role.

"It maybe still hasn't hit me that I am really famous. But people still come up to me and say, 'Are you the girl from The Princess Diaries?' They often don't know my name," Anne explained.

"In those circumstances I sometimes just say no. I've signed enough autographs as Princess Mia. If you don't know my name, maybe don't ask for my autograph."
