All proceeds from the two shows will benefit the Project Hospitality Staten Island charity. The organisation is aiding in relief efforts in the region.

Tickets are available on Louis CK's website.

Louis CK was forced to cancel a stand-up comedy show in New York City on the night Hurricane Sandy made landfall.

He wrote in an open letter to fans at the time: "I'm eating a pretty staggering fee for cancelling the show. But I can take it. What I can't take is the thought that there's a CHANCE 4300 people will be in danger trying to get home from my stupid show."

The comedian remained in New York City throughout the storm as he was preparing to host Saturday Night Live on November 3.
