Nicki Minaj lies on black roses in new fragrance commercial - watch

Nicki Minaj has unveiled the commercial for her perfume Pink Friday.

In the short clip, the rapper is seen laying on black roses. She picks one of the roses but pricks herself on a thorn and bleeds in pink blood.



Pink Friday is also the same title of her 2010 debut album, which featured hit singles 'Your Love' and 'Right Thru Me'.

Minaj can be seen next as a judge on American Idol, alongside Mariah Carey, Keith Urban and Randy Jackson.

Although Minaj was seen arguing with Carey on the set of Idol, she admitted that she is open to performing with Carey on the show.

The new series of American Idol will begin airing in early 2013.
