Veteran actor Lesley Phillips has been named "Trouper of the Year" by The Oldie magazine.
The 82-year-old was handed the prize by his Venus co-star Peter O'Toole at a ceremony in central London.
Liz Smith was named "Royle of the Year" for playing Nana Royle in The Royle family.
Phillips said: "I've had a marvellous year with one of the greatest actors I've ever worked with, Peter O'Toole. Our film has done well and I've written a book and that's done well.
"I'm thrilled to get this award and I thank everyone for giving me such a good reception."
