Annie Lennox has criticised Tony Blair for letting his "ideology run riot" in his foreign policy.
The former Eurythmics singer is still disgusted that the Prime Minister led Britain into the Iraq war in 2003.
She said: “Many people in this country feel very let down and very confused by some of the steps that have taken place over the last few years.
“I for one am very concerned that we were led into the debacle of Iraq (by) being told that we had to do this. It appals me that four years later we are looking at a mess and just about to let Tony Blair’s ideology run riot.”
