There was so much booing and jeering at one of the comic's gigs in Cheshire he walked off after just 20 minutes, The People reports.
He resumed the performance in Stockport some minutes later only for the heavy heckling to start up again, the paper says.
A spokesman for the star, who declared himself bankrupt last year, recalled: "It must have been really frustrating for his fans to see other audience members destroying what should have been a fantastic show."
