Jared Leto prepares for transvestite role: Actors playing female roles

Jared Leto revealed his facial hair free-face at the 22nd Annual Gotham Independent Film Awards in New York last night (November 26).



The 40-year-old actor and 30 Seconds to Mars frontman has had his face shaved and eyebrows waxed to play a transvestite in The Dallas Buyers Club.

The movie also stars an emaciated Matthew McConaughey who has lost an extreme amount of weight to play AIDS sufferer Ron Woodroof in the film based on a true story.
