Thurman confirms split from Balazs

Uma Thurman's publicist has confirmed that the actress has split with long-term partner Andre Balazs.

Thurman and hotelier Balazs have been together three years, and last week rumours began to circulate that the couple had called time on their relationship.

Now the actress' publicist Robert Garlock has publicly announced the split, but refused to comment further on the situation. He made a firm point that the couple did not want to release any further details at this point.

Thurman is mother to two children from a previous marriage to Ethan Hawke.
