"When I met Morrissey before his performance on The Jonathan Ross Show I gasped and squealed," Stiles admitted.
The star continued: "Pretty soon after [I squealed], security asked me to leave the theatre."
Stiles is currently starring opposite Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper in the drama Silver Linings Playbook.
The David O Russell-directed movie is now playing in the US and the UK.
