The police have been forced to combat the protesters using tear gas, according to Sky News.
The reality star was in Bahrain to open the branch of her Millions Of Milkshakes shop in the Gulf kingdom.
Approximately 50 hardline Islamic protesters stood outside the shopping mall prior to the opening.
The protesters reportedly displayed banners saying 'Kim not welcome here' and chanted "God is great", but were moved before Kardashian reached the shopping complex in Riffa.
Prior to her arrival, steps had been taken by Islamic legislators to block the model's visit to Bahrain.
She was labelled in a parliamentary session as "an actress with an extremely bad reputation", according to the Gulf Daily News.
However, the proposal to stop Kardashian from setting foot in Bahrain was dismissed.
Despite the upset she caused, the 32-year-old described the country on Twitter as the "prettiest place on Earth" and said "I'm in love with The Kingdom of Bahrain".
