Heidi Klum barely recognisable as Cleopatra at belated Halloween bash

Heidi Klum covered her face in crystals and wore a spectacular Cleopatra costume for her belated Halloween celebration in New York over the weekend (December 2).



The 38-year-old model and infamous fancy dress enthusiast cancelled her original Halloween party due to Hurricane Sandy, so she threw a Haunted Holiday Party in aid of the American Cross for the Hurricane Sandy relief efforts.



Klum donned a plunging dress comprised of gold scales, a metallic cape and an intricate headpiece complete with black curls.

The mother-of-three even enlisted the talent of Oscar and Emmy-winning make-up artist Bill Corso, who placed multi-coloured crystals all over her face.

The star also wore a pair of huge towering gold platform boots.



Klum, who recently split from husband Seal, was joined by hip-hop mogul Russell Simmons and a Father Christmas at the festive bash at the Big Apple nightclub.

The America's Next Top Model presenter also shared pictures of her getting ready and arriving at the party on Twitter.
