Earlier this year, it was reported that Lohan owes $93,701.57 (£60,630.17) in unpaid taxes from 2009, although she allegedly also owes money from 2010, making a total of $233,904 (£145,904).

The reports also claim that Lohan owes tax money relating to 2011.

It recently emerged that Charlie Sheen gave $100,000 to Lohan to help her pay off her debt after meeting her on the set of Scary Movie 5.

However, Lohan has reportedly been unable to pay off the remainder of the debt, resulting in the IRS seizing her bank accounts.

The actress - who recently made a comeback in the television movie Liz & Dick - is now said to be concerned about her financial situation and is looking for work to pay off her debts.

Lohan is currently facing a number of legal problems after being charged with three misdemeanours relating to a summer car crash and being arrested for assault in New York last week.
