Katie Price's one-year driving ban lifted

By
Katie Price's one-year driving ban has been lifted after she appealed the court ruling.

The model and businesswoman was barred from driving back in August after being found guilty of two speeding charges, but she insisted that her former fiancé Leandro Penna had been driving the vehicle.

"Wow wow wow I've had good news I'm not banned from driving wooooooooo thankyou judges and my legal team," Price tweeted earlier today.

Her white Range Rover was photographed speeding twice in London last year, on September 5 and 6, but she failed to give information regarding the driver's identity after missing the notices because she doesn't open her own post.

She was later summoned to court and said: "We checked it out and we saw it was the white Range Rover and I said, 'Oh well, it definitely wasn't me, because I have got the pink one and I always drive my pink Range Rover'.

"I have got three other cars that I don't really drive, they're just on the driveway. I know it was Leo, he was the only one who drove that car, he didn't have another car to drive."

Price already had six points on her licence prior to the incident and received a further six penalty points and a 12-month ban, which has now been cancelled.

She was also ordered to pay a £400 fine, £350 costs and a victim surcharge of £15 at the time.
