The Savages star stopped byThe Ellen DeGeneres Show to share that his favourite holiday tradition is to drink hot cocoa with his family.
"It represents winter wonderlands, it represents Christmas," Travolta explained to DeGeneres, adding: "I've collected various types of cocoa from around the world."
Travolta also discussed his and Olivia Newton-John's holiday record This Christmas, which will benefit the actor's charity for children with disabilities.
"All the proceeds go to our charities… Autism and seizures are the least known areas of illnesses," Travolta said. "I feel bad that there's so many people dealing with this and there are no answers for them.
"So, I felt like starting a foundation that will help that. Plus, I widened it. It's also for handicapped children and the handicapped Olympics. It's also for underprivileged children. So I widened my purpose a bit there too."
Travolta and Kelly Preston established the charity as a tribute to their son Jett, who passed away in 2009.
The Ellen DeGeneres Show is airing its Travolta interview today (Wednesday).
