Ke$ha has settled a lawsuit with her former producer David Sonenberg.

Sonenberg had sued the 'Tik Tok' singer, claiming that he had discovered her and was thus partially responsible for her success.

The producer also said in his legal filing that he'd been unfairly fired at the insistence of Ke$ha's songwriter Dr Luke, according to The New York Post.

Sonenberg had asked for $12 million from Ke$ha and $14 million from Dr Luke, but a new financial settlement has been reached following the popstar filing a counter-suit.

The details of the agreement have not been publicly disclosed, but a spokesperson said that the terms "were agreeable to all concerned".

Ke$ha stormed the pop charts in 2009 with a string of hits including 'Tik Tok', 'Blah Blah Blah', 'Your Love is My Drug' and 'Take It Off'.

Her second album Warrior was released this week.
