U2 guitarist The Edge has donated his favourite guitar to a charity that provides aid to musicians still suffering from the effects of Hurricane Katrina.
The musician, real name David Evans, co-founded the organisation which primarily raises money to replace instruments that were lost or damaged by the natural disaster.
The guitar, which The Edge has used throughout his career, will be sold at the Icons of Music Auction.
The auction also includes a pair of sunglasses owned by his bandmate Bono, a saxophone once owned by the former President Bill Clinton and a recording contract signed by Elvis Presley.
