Spice Girls Mel C in angry rant about missing Victoria Beckham

By
Spice Girl Mel C was angered when asked about absent Victoria Beckham last night at the launch of Viva Forever!.

When Digital Spy asked her where the former Spice Girl was during their press call at the aftershow party, she said: "Who? She's with her husband."

The singer then turned around and said: "Some bitch just asked me where Victoria was. F**k off!" and gave the finger.

An insider said: "It touched a raw nerve with Mel - it's not a case of them detaching themselves from Victoria, it's her separating herself from them."

While Mel B, Mel C, Emma Bunton and Geri Halliwell spent the day getting ready together in a hotel room, arrived together, sat together at the theatre and partied until the early hours of the morning, Beckham was away.

Beckham arrived late, keeping the audience waiting. She said that she was held up in traffic, and sat aside from the girls, choosing to be with David and sons Romeo, Brooklyn and Cruz instead.

During the performance, while the four were on their feet dancing along, Victoria stayed seated.

As the four danced round the VIP area at the after-party - to their own songs - Victoria was seen in a cornered-off section with David and her family.

The five of them appeared on stage at the curtain call to thank everyone as Mel B swore and the others laughed.

Mel B said: "That was f**king great!" as they made their speeches.

When the girls got on stage at the after-party to say their thanks for the half-a-million-pound bash, Beckham - who also left early - was absent.

It's thought the fashionista is concerned that associating herself again with the Spice Girls will compromise her credentials as a serious designer.

However, she later wrote on Twitter: "Great time with my girls tonight! Thank you Simon Fuller, we couldn't have done this without you!!! x Vb #vivaforever."
