DiCaprio, Tarantino, Thurman: 'Django Unchained' New York premiere

DiCaprio looked dapper suited and booted while a youthful-looking Thurman wore a black mac over a white blouse.

The Hollywood stars were joined by Olivia Wilde, in a plunging black top, co-stars Jamie Foxx and Samuel L Jackson, Sharon Osbourne, Liv Tyler and Zach Braff.

Musical guests at the screening included Patti Smith, Ronnie Wood and fiancée Sally Humphries, and Sia.

The highly-anticipated Django Unchained, written and directed by Tarantino, sees a slave-turned-bounty hunter (played by Foxx) who sets out to rescue his kidnapped wife (Kerry Washington) from a brutal Mississippi plantation owner (Leonardo DiCaprio).

The Western also stars Inglorious Basterds Oscar winner Christoph Waltz, Don Johnson and Jonah Hill.
