The past year has been bursting at the celebrity seams with dramas worthy of an EastEnders storyline, from divorces to shocking deaths, marriages, hook-ups and so many showbiz buns in the oven we don't know where to look for fear of impregnation.

It's hard to believe it hasn't even been a year since superstar Whitney Houston died unexpectedly.

Or even more shockingly that a Spice Girl hooked up with Russell Brand - and then got dumped. Who would have seen that one, ahem, coming?
