Jolie, Pitt tighten security after threats

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have been forced to tighten household security after they received a threat that their son was going to be kidnapped.

According to The Sun, the stars' bodyguards heard of a "credible and meticulously planned" plot to snatch newly-adopted three-year-old Pax Thien as he was flown back from Vietnam.

A source said of the gang: "They're highly skilled operatives with little regard for human life.

"The gang ordered their LA members to devise a plan to kidnap Pax before demanding a ransom of $50 million - equal to the profit from a year of drug dealing."

A friend of Jolie said that the star was sick with worry. They said: "She isn't sleeping and barely eats. She doesn't let the kids out of her sight."
