Mika has taken a pop at Simon Cowell for criticising his songwriting ability.
The singer, who spent five weeks at the top of the UK chart with Grace Kelly, admitted that X Factor judge Cowell was unimpressed with his music when they met a few years ago.
"I had a meeting with Simon a few years back. He said my songs weren't very good and I wasn't a songwriter," Mika told Attitude magazine. "Then I spotted a gold disc for the Teletubbies single to the left of him and thought, 'This is possibly not the man for me.'"
